Eva Mendes Urges Latinos To Embrace Therapy 7/15/08

Eva Mendes is urging members of the Latin community to embrace therapy, because it has enriched her life. The Cuban-American actress claims counseling was frowned upon when she grew up, but as an adult she has discovered the benefits of sharing her problems.

Mendes tells Interview magazine, "I love therapy. It has just enriched my life. I come from a family, from a heritage where you don't really go to therapy unless you're crazy. I want people to know that that's so not the case. It's enriching."
