Shia LaBeouf Bemoans Paparazzi Pressure 7/30/08

Troubled movie star Shia LaBeouf has blamed the paparazzi for killing the mystery of Hollywood.

Photographers were all over the Transformers star's car crash on Sunday (27Jul08), which left the actor in hospital with a hand injury and facing drink driving charges, and in an interview shortly before the incident, he blasted the news-hungry snappers.

In a taped TV chat during his recent Details magazine photoshoot, LaBeouf said, "The paparazzi is the bad press... It's kind of killing the mystery of what Hollywood used to be.

"That's why actors were so appealing; they had this mystery... They were magical." Now, he feels like he's in a movie every time he leaves his house: "You learn that the show starts when you open your door; the show stops when you close your door and you're always on."
