Hilary Duff to Front Candies  6/9/05

Teen singer and actress Hilary Duff has signed up to be the new face of fashion company Candie's.

The Perfect Man star will front the launch of the company's new junior division clothing line this autumn (05), reports MTV News.

The 17-year-old says, "I am so excited to be the new Candie's girl. There have been so many cool people that have done (their) ads in the past, and I feel like I am in good company with a lot of really cool people."

Past Candie's spokespeople include Kelly Clarkson, Dixie Chicks and Destiny's Child.
