The OC's Mischa Barton Struggles With Media Attention  6/10/05

The OC actress Mischa Barton finds it increasingly difficult to deal with the tabloid speculation about her relationship with American oil heir Brandon Davis.

Barton, who plays tormented teen Marissa on the hit FOX drama, began dating Davis last year (04) and recently had to deny reports she was planning to dump Davis.

Barton, 19, says, "My relationship is the one thing I find the media speculate over too much. I don't deal with it too well.

"Fame has its pitfalls and plus-points. So not talking about it will hopefully not fuel the fire."

The stunning brunette laughs off reports of an engagement, insisting as a teenager and only a year into her relationship, it is too soon.
