FOX Announces The Princes of Malibu Premiere July 10th  6/15/05

BRANDON AND BRODY JENNER FIGHT FOR THEIR RIGHT TO PARTY WHEN “THE PRINCES OF MALIBU” PREMIERES SUNDAY, JULY 10, ON FOX

Malibu slackers Brandon and Brody Jenner must face the music – in the form of their step-dad, the legendary musician, composer, arranger and producer David Foster – in the premiere episode of THE PRINCES OF MALIBU Sunday, July 10 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

THE PRINCES OF MALIBU will reveal a family that has everything – a 22-acre compound by the sea, fabulous cars, bank accounts to dream of and looks to die for. But although their luxuries are extraordinary, they have the same types of problems as any other blended family: David wants his stepsons to contribute to the household, get jobs or get out; and Linda Thompson, their mother, doesn’t mind her boys taking the time to “find their way” while enjoying the fruits of David’s labors. Set in the ritzy, sun-drenched environs of tony Malibu, CA, the series uncovers the humorous situations that arise as Brandon (23) and Brody (21) live the high life while trying to coexist with the irate Foster and their doting mother.

In the first episode, David and Linda return home from vacation a day early and find Brody’s 21st birthday party overrunning “Casablanca” – their palatial Malibu estate. The raging pool party is the last straw for David, who decides to finally put his foot down. If Brandon and Brody want to keep living under their parents’ roof, they’ll have to change their tune by acting more responsibly and paying their own way.

The series is produced by GRB Entertainment. Gary R. Benz, Brant Pinvidic and Spencer Pratt are the executive producers.
