Katie Holmes found what she thought was the love of her life before meeting Tom Cruise - superhero Batman's famous Batmobile.

The 26-year-old Batman Begins star was left swooning when she saw Christian Bale's impressive ride in action for the first time, and she was determined to take the road-worthy supercar home with her.

However, Holmes' whirlwind romance with the War of the Worlds heart-throb has changed her priorities since their first date in April (05).

She tells Hotdog magazine, "It was so cool - I saw the Batmobile take off and I was like, 'I am in love right now and all I want is that car.'"
