Brittany Murphy's Horse Trouble  6/16/05

Actress Brittany Murphy nearly broke her neck when she was thrown from a horse during a recent photo shoot with French photographer Patrick Demarchelier.

The stunt was part of the new Jordache jeans' advertising campaign featuring the Sin City star and required her to pose with a four legged co-star named Cloud.

The combination of Murphy's lack of equestrian experience, the high temperature and the commotion of the shoot proved too much for Cloud, who reared up and flung the film star to the floor, reports gossip site Page Six.

Luckily for the actress, her uncle was among the crowd in Harriman, New York and prevented a more severe accident happening by rushing to cushion her fall.

Despite the traumatic ordeal the brave star received no injuries and decided to carry on with the shoot.
