Shakira believes she's the "most shy person in the world" - even though she's known for her sexy dance routines.

The 28-year-old Colombian, who shows off her grease-painted curves as she writhes around in the video for her latest single La Tortura, claims she's extremely inhibited.

She tells Blender magazine, "I have way too many inhibitions. "I'm shy. Super-shy. The most shy person in the world."
