Kate Bosworth Dumps Model as Orlando Bloom Flies In  6/20/05

Kate Bosworth dumped her model lover when ex-boyfriend Orlando Bloom told her he was flying to Australia.

The 22-year-old - who dated Bloom for two years until their split in January (05) - enjoyed a passionate eight week fling with model Lundi Shackleton after they met on the set of Superman Returns in Sydney.

The Lord of the Rings hunk called old flame Bosworth two weeks ago to let her know he would be visiting the Australian city - and she immediately ended her relationship with Shackleton, who is working as assistant to director Bryan Singer on the superhero movie.

However, the split was amicable and Bloom has since met Shackleton.

An on set source says of Shackleton, "You can tell she respects him too. It's all good - Orlando's even met him."
