Beckhams in Negotiations With Cosmetics Giant  6/21/05

David and Victoria Beckham are in negotiations with cosmetics giant L'Oreal to front an advertising campaign for the company's famous shampoo.

The Real Madrid soccer icon and his former pop star wife will appear in television commercials and billboard advertisements for the popular product, featuring the "Because you're worth it" slogan, if a deal is struck.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "L'Oreal are one of the biggest cosmetics firms in the world, while David and Victoria are the biggest celebrity couple in the world, so it makes perfect sense for them to join forces.

"If it were to go ahead we are talking serious cash - in the tens of millions."

Jennifer Aniston, Beyonce Knowles, Eva Longoria, Ben Affleck and Claudia Shiffer have signed advertising deals with L'Oreal in the past.
