Paris Hilton Gives Reality Advice to Mother  6/22/05

Paris Hilton gave her mother Kathy advice about appearing on a reality TV before she began filming I Want to be a Hilton.

The hotel heiress, who first found fame in The Simple Life with Nicole Richie, was more than happy to give her mum some pointers before she made her TV debut in the popular US show.

She says, "I just told her to always know the camera's there and not try anything bad because there's a microphone on you. And just to be yourself."

The show, broadcast on America's NBC network, features 14 hopefuls who are put through numerous tasks on New York's social scene in a bid to be crowned the winning socialite.
