Val Kilmer left a London theatre audience angry on Friday (24JUN05) after failing to show up to perform The Postman Only Rings Twice on the West End due to "an indisposition".

Fans who had paid to watch the Hollywood star at the Playhouse Theatre left in droves after discovering his absence - and were particularly annoyed after learning Kilmer had spent the day at the Wimbledon tennis championships, enjoying hospitality.

A source says, "Everyone at the Playhouse Theatre was given a choice of refund/rebooking or seeing it that night - only seven rows of people stayed."
