Shakira is desperate to have children and regards it as the "big project of my life".

But the hip-shaking singer wants to wait until her hectic career calms down before bringing another life into the world.

The 28-year-old Colombian is dating Antonio De La Rua - the son of former Argentine president Fernando De La Rua.

She says, "That's the big project of my life. I want one boy and one girl.

"I just have to be a little more sane when that happens."
