American Idol Reject Arrested After Alleged Food Fight  6/28/05

The bitter American Idol contestant who hit the headlines last month (MAY05) after claiming he had an affair with show judge Paula Abdul has been arrested in Sacramento, California for allegedly throwing food at his partner.

Corey Clark, who was kicked off the TV talent show after producers discovered he had a criminal record, stunned America with his claims, which Abdul denied.

He was charged with misdemeanor battery after allegedly getting into a food fight with his record company manager on Saturday morning (25JUN05).

Police were called to his hotel room at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento after the disturbance was reported. They found both Clark and his record company boss with scratches on their arms.

Clark has been ordered to appear in Sacramento County Superior Court on 22 July (05) to face the charges.
