NEW YORK -- June 30, 2005 -- Bravo has added an additional episode of
Bravo's popular hit series "Blow Out." The second-season finale
will now premiere on Tuesday, July 19 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. In addition, a
tell-all reunion special with Jonathan Antin and his celebrity stylists
from season one and two is scheduled to premiere on August 3 at 8:00 p.m.
ET/PT. The announcement was made today by Lauren Zalaznick, President,
Bravo.
"'Blow Out' has been a huge success for Bravo with a devoted fan
base tuning in week after week," said Zalaznick. "As it
continues to gain ground and perform strongly, we're excited about
continuing to bring Jonathan Antin and his world of high energy salon
drama to our viewers."
"Jonathan Antin is a star and Reveille is thrilled to continue to
bring his amazing world to television," said Ben Silverman, CEO of
Reveille. "This ground breaking 'real life' soap opera continues to
perform extraordinarily well and Bravo is the perfect partner."
Viewers will have a chance to hear firsthand the behind the scenes
adventures of Hollywood's super-stylist in Bravo's 'Blow Out' reunion
special. Audiences can expect all of the tension, tears, and magnetism of
seasons one and two as we delve into the off-kilter world of Jonathan
Antin and his talented stylists.
"Blow Out," which continues to see success as one of Bravo's
top rated programs, follows the celebrated stylist as he turns his sights
on the global market and plans the worldwide launch of his multi-million
dollar hair care line, Jonathan Product.
As a teenager, Antin was inspired to become a stylist by Warren
Beatty's role as the sexy, lady-loving George Roundy in the hit film
"Shampoo." He dropped out of Beverly Hills High to enroll in the
Fairfax Beauty Academy, where he quickly landed a job at a trendy West
Hollywood salon. Like Beatty's character, Antin's smoldering good looks
and charisma, combined with his unique fashion sense proved irresistible.
Within a few years, he claimed the salon as his own -- garnering a list of
celebrity clientele rivaling the best in the business. With the successful
opening of Jonathan Salon Beverly Hills, Antin's brand and presence in the
fashion industry continues to grow as he looks to also expand and market
is own production line, Jonathan Product.
"Blow Out" is produced for Bravo by Reveille LLC and Magna
Global Entertainment.
