Elizabeth Hurley's Dog Missing, Feared Dognapped  6/30/05

British model Elizabeth Hurley is distraught after beloved pet dog Emily has gone missing, feared 'dognapped'.

Recently, crime experts have warned up to 2,000 dogs are being kidnapped a month in Britain.

Hurley and fiancé Arun Nayar have enrolled friends and family to search the area surrounding the Estee Lauder beauty's Kensington, London home after the eight-month-old black Labrador vanished earlier this week (begs27JUN05).

The spokeswoman for Hurley says, "She and Arun are distraught. There are dozens of people looking for Emily and everyone is very worried. The police have been called."
