Desperate Housewives Star Denies Engagement  6/30/05

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is desperately denying claims she's agreed to marry basketball star Tony Parker after wearing what looked like an engagement ring on her wedding finger.

Longoria was spotted courtside wearing the mystery ring when her beloved San Antonio Spurs played the Detroit Pistons in the National Basketball Association

(NBA) finals last Tuesday (21JUN05), but her publicists insist she's not about to become Mrs Parker.

A spokesman states, "There is no engagement."

Parker, whose Spurs eventually won the championship last week (23JUN05), is one of many men who has been romantically linked to the sexy actress, who was divorced from soap star Tyler Christopher at the beginning of the year (05).

And Longoria herself denied the reports yesterday, adding, "I'm not engaged,"

but she wouldn't explain why she was wearing a ring on her wedding finger.
