Michael Bolton: "I Forced Shy Nicollette Sheridan to Sing  6/7/06

Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan had to be coaxed into duetting with her fiancé Michael Bolton on his new album, as she hates her singing voice.

Bolton was determined to capture Sheridan's vocal talents on Bolton Swings Sinatra.

But she took some convincing before agreeing to sing The Second Time Around on the disc.

Bolton tells PageSix, "I've been telling her for 14 years she has a fantastic voice - so pure and sweet - and she should use it.

"You know, she won't sing when she knows I'm listening, so I've had to kind of sneak around and catch her unaware.

"When I proposed we do this together, she looked at me liked I'd suddenly grown two noses."
