Reverend Run Keeps His Kids in Check  6/7/06

Rapper Joseph 'Reverend Run' Simmons refuses to treat his kids differently to keep up appearances on his reality show Run's House - insisting he will discipline them on air if need be.

The rapper-turned-minister is filming the second season of a self-help guide for men struggling to raise a family.

He says, "Call me old-fashioned, but sometimes you have to say 'no' to your kids, even if they don't want to hear it.

"My family is my ministry. I'm gonna raise it up with or without the cameras.

I make sure that none of this goes to their heads by dealing with them face-on.

"We go to church and have constant meetings. I won't tolerate any cussing from my children, and they respect that."
