Kylie Minogue Named Glamour Woman of the Year  6/7/06

Australian pop star Kylie Minogue was named Woman Of The Year at the Glamour Awards held in London last night (06JUN06).

The singer was diagnosed with breast cancer last year (MAY05), and readers of the British woman's magazine honored Minogue for the bravery she has shown during her battle with the deadly disease.

Minogue, who is in remission and was unable to attend the ceremony, said in a recorded message, "The last year has been my least public but, in many ways, the most.
