Nicole Richie: "Paris Hilton and I Will Never Be Friends Again"  6/12/06

Socialite Nicole Richie insists her friendship with Paris Hilton is over for good, and she's fine with that.

The two best friends and The Simple Life stars fell out two years ago and have both refused to go into details about what caused the split.

And now Richie is adamant about patching things up, stating it will never happen - even though the girls are currently starring in the fourth season of The Simple Life.

She says, "It is amazing... I love it... She's (Hilton) just not part of my life, but it makes for good TV, right?

"I'm not really the one that initiated the fight... We're not friends. It's OK."
