Simpson Sisters Have Always Had Different Styles  6/14/06

Ashlee Simpson insists her and sister Jessica have always had vastly different styles - even when they were children.

The Love singer has always felt more comfortable in casual clothes, while Jessica favors a more glamorous, sexy look.

She explains, "Jessica was always putting cute outfits together, and I've always been a tomboy.

"When we were younger, Jess used to wear a pair of red Wrangler jeans that she'd have to use pliers to pull on. Very sexy in Texas!

"Me, I wouldn't even wear jeans. Everything had to be elastic-waist.

"My first day of kindergarten, my mother wanted me to wear a dress, and I was like, 'No, I don't want to!' So I wore baggy MC Hammer pants!"
