Sandra Bullock's biker husband Jesse James has no problem with Keanu Reeves accompanying her to high-profile events, because he is old friends with the Matrix star.

James who owns custom bike shop West Coast Choppers, met Reeves years ago and the two bonded over their love of motorcycles.

Bullock claims her press-shy husband is thrilled that Reeves acts as her escort, so he doesn't have to walk the red carpet with her.

She explains, "He's OK with it because they've actually know each other longer than I've known Jesse.

"Jesse built a bike for him years ago."

Reeves adds, "He's absolutely fine with it because he knows we're just good friends."
