Josh Hartnett Lands Vampire Hunter Role 6/17/06

Movie hunk Josh Hartnett is the latest big name to play a vampire hunter after signing on to play an Alaskan cop in Sam Raimi's new action horror movie 30 Days of Night.

The Pearl Harbor star will play part of a husband-and-wife police team who have to chase bloodsuckers out of Alaskan town Barrow, where 30 days of continual winter darkness makes the town a mecca for vampires.
