Keanu Reeves: "Money is Meaningless"  6/19/06

Hollywood heart-throb Keanu Reeves insists money means nothing to him, and he is far more concerned about maintaining his good health.

Reeves is one of the movie industry's highest earners after signing a profit percentage deal before starring in The Matrix trilogy, but he prefers to donate cash to charity and live simply.

He says, "Money doesn't mean anything to me. I've made a lot of money but I want to enjoy life and not stress myself building my bank account.

"I give lots away and live simply, mostly out of a suitcase in hotels. We all know that good health is much more important."
