Bryan Singer and Kate Bosworth: Superman is Straight  6/26/06

Superman Returns director Bryan Singer and leading lady Kate Bosworth have laughed off claims the iconic superhero is gay.

US gay magazine Advocate is calling for the superhero to come out of the closet in their recent issue titled 'How Gay Is Superman?'

But Singer says, "He's pretty straight. He's Superman."

While Bosworth scoffs, "I play his love interest so I think that's probably pretty ridiculous."
