Christina Aguilera: Married Without Children  6/26/06

Christina Aguilera has lashed out at expectations for her to become pregnant so quickly after her 2005 marriage to Jordan Bratman, insisting she didn't get wed simply to conceive.

The hit maker, 25, wed music executive Bratman in November (05) and insists she's happy just being a wife for now.

She says, "Everyone's like, 'Oh, since you're married now, are you gonna have children?'

"I'm like, this (my double album Back to Basics) is my child, because I've been working so hard on it. Having twins! It's so exciting."
