Orlando Bloom Would Consider Soap for Lots of Money 6/29/06 Orlando Bloom has called on bosses at British soap opera Coronation Street to make him an offer he can't refuse to appear in the show. The actor has no intention of swapping his Hollywood career for TV, but could be tempted if he's offered a massive salary. He says, "I never was a Coronation Street person. Though I suppose it depends on how good the money is and if it was a really good role." Bloom's The Lord of the Rings co-star Sir Ian McKellen shot a guest spot on Coronation Street last year (05).
