Orlando Bloom puts his Hollywood career before his on/off relationship with Kate Bosworth, because he's terrified he'll lose his lucky streak.

The English actor is currently one of the hottest young talents in Tinseltown, thanks to his roles in the Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean franchises.

But he remains fearful it could all come to an end - and is putting his relationship with long-term love Bosworth on the backburner so he can concentrate on keeping up his momentum.

Bloom says, "I'm just focusing on my career. Ultimately I'm just riding this really big wave right now. I'm just trying to hold on tight for dear life and not fall off."
