Kylie Minogue's Cancer Recovery Documentary to be Released This Year  6/1/07

A film documenting Kylie Minogue's pop comeback after her cancer battle is set to be released later this year (07).

Shot by her stylist pal William Baker, White Diamond follows the Australian singer's return to the stage on her Showgirl Homecoming world tour, which kicked off in Sydney last year (Nov06).

The Spinning Around star's world tour had to be halted in 2005 when Minogue was diagnosed with breast cancer, and the new film follows the star through her successful recovery and even her split with long-term boyfriend, Olivier Martinez.

She says, "William Baker directed this two-hour film, in which there are many funny and many tearful moments.

"I have to admit I was a little nervous to work on such a revealing project and I did pull the plug several times, but due to Willie's persistence it is now almost finished. It gives a great insight into the world of touring and the touring family."

Minogue confirmed the film will be released this year, but no official release date has been set as yet.
