Kylie Minogue has hit back at suggestions ten demos from her new album which leaked onto the internet was a publicity stunt.

The pop singer is fuming after the collection of demos appeared on the internet months before her new album is released - but some critics are claiming it is a publicity stunt.

One music insider tells British newspaper The Sun, "It's a new marketing ploy that record companies are using to get exposure."

However, a spokesperson for the Spinning Around beauty hit back at the claims, explaining, "There would be no point songs being released onto the net this far ahead of the release."
