SERENA WILLIAMS IS THE FIRST STAR TO BE ELIMINATED FROM ABC'S
"FAST CARS & SUPERSTARS" CELEBRITY RACING REALITY SHOW
Last night Serena Williams was the first star to be eliminated from the
celebrity racing reality show, "Fast Cars & Superstars - Gillette
Young Guns Celebrity Race." The next episode will air SUNDAY, JUNE 10
(8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on ABC.
In the premiere episode, professional racer Kurt Busch pushed John
Elway to the limit in the cars.com car; Laird Hamilton confirmed that
nothing scares him; and Serena Williams screamed her way to shattering her
own personal challenge of surpassing the speed of her fastest serve.
Unfortunately for Serena, even going that fast wasn't enough to keep her
from being eliminated.
"Fast Cars & Superstars - Gillette Young Guns Celebrity
Race" is hosted by ESPN anchor Kenny Mayne and co-hosted by former
Cleveland Cavaliers center and current ESPN NASCAR analyst Brad Daugherty.
Celebrity Drivers are singer Jewel, actor William Shatner,
skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, actress Krista Allen, seven-time World
All-Around Rodeo Champion Ty Murray, former NBA Champion John Salley,
former NFL Super Bowl Champion John Elway, World Wrestling Entertainment
Champion John Cena, tennis star Serena Williams, volleyball great and
model Gabrielle Reece, legendary surfer Laird Hamilton and former NFL
Super Bowl-winning Head Coach Bill Cowher. Gillette Young Guns are Jimmie
Johnson, Ryan Newman, Carl Edwards, Kasey Kahne, Kurt Busch and Jamie
McMurray.
"Fast Cars & Superstars - Gillette Young Guns Celebrity
Race" airs in HDTV with 5.1 channel surround sound.
