Drew Barrymore is Desperate for Children  6/9/07

Newly-single Drew Barrymore is desperate to become a mother soon.

The actress, who recently split with The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti, has been getting broody after babysitting friends' kids and her celebrity god-daughter Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of Courtney Love.

The Charlie's Angels star confesses, "I've just started to think about starting to think about children."

"I do feel I'm going to have a child at some point. I can feel it. We'll have to wait and see."
