TEARS
AND LAUGHTER IN A VERY SPECIAL EPISODE OF BRAVO'S HIT SERIES 'KATHY
GRIFFIN: MY LIFE ON THE D-LIST' TUESDAY, JUNE 19 AT 10PM ET/PT

BURBANK, Calif. — June 14, 2007 — The laughs and humiliations never
stop when it comes to comedienne Kathy Griffin and her chronicles on
Bravo's "My Life on the D-List"—except in this week's upcoming
episode in which Griffin deals with the death of her father, (Tuesday,
June 19 at 10 p.m. ET/PT).
In this third episode of the new season of the Emmy-nominated
"D-List", as Griffin prepares to leave for a comedy show aboard
Rosie O'Donnell's gay and lesbian cruise, she receives the devastating
news that her father is in the hospital and may not make it. Griffin must
balance her work commitments against her family responsibilities and her
extremely strong love for her father: "It's here, that moment I've
been just dreading my whole life is here," said Griffin. "It
really just hit me like a baseball bat…and I just kept thinking I can
never talk to him again."
Viewers will both laugh and cry along with Griffin as she reveals her
dying father's wish to die with dignity and his beloved golf playing on
the television. In an unusually poignant episode dedicated to her late
father, John Griffin (who made frequent appearances on the series), Kathy
deals with the grief in her trademark fashion but not without shedding a
few tears along the way.
