Mandy Moore Has Broadway Ambitions 6/14/07
Pop star Mandy Moore has her sights set on Broadway, despite turning down a chance to star in Beauty & The Beast. The singer/actress confirms she was offered the role of Belle in the musical, but declined the part. She tells online gossip king Marc Malkin, "I couldn't take doing something like that. It would have be really something super-special." But she insists she'll be onstage in a major production before the end of the decade. She adds, "I'm such a big musical-theatre nerd."
