Cate Blanchett Wants a Third Child  6/18/07

Australian actress Cate Blanchett has her sights set on motherhood again - she and writer husband Andrew Upton are talking about adding to their family.

The Aviator star insists she isn't finished having children yet and would happily put her career on hold to become a mum for the third time.

She says, "I do love being pregnant and I would love another child, but it isn't something that we plot and plan the time to do.

"You have to look at how having another child will affect the kids you do have and adore, but, if it happens, it would be fantastic."

And Blanchett, who was recently named one of the world's most influential people by Time magazine, insists her image as someone who'd do anything for her acting career is far from the truth - she's happiest when she's at home, baking.

She adds, "I really, really love baking. I love making gingerbread... and I have jars of it all over the kitchen. I just get a real kick out of it and (I) guess it is quite meditative for me."
