Joss Stone Laughs Off Royal Romance  6/22/07

English soul star Joss Stone is laughing off reports she is enjoying a new romance with British royal Prince William.

The heir to the throne split from long-term girlfriend Kate Middleton in April (07) after four years together and he is yet to find anyone to replace her.

Stone, 20, recently admitted she has spoken to the 25-year-old prince on the phone to discuss his mother Diana, Princess Of Wales' memorial concert in London next month (Jul07).

Despite press speculation the pair are becoming "close", the singer's representative insists their communication is strictly professional.

Her representative Dave Woolf says, "They talked about what songs she is going to sing at the concert and that gets translated into a story about how William has been bombarding her with calls.

"She is really pleased to be involved in the event and was anxious that she do something that would have meant something to the princess as opposed to singing any old three songs. She wanted to get direct input about what they wanted her to do."
