JOHN ELWAY IS THE CHAMPION OF ABC'S "FAST CARS &
SUPERSTARS" CELEBRITY RACING REALITY SHOW
In last night's Season Finale, John Elway won the championship of
"Fast Cars & Superstars - Gillette Young Guns Celebrity
Race" on ABC. The inaugural "Fast Cars & Superstars --
Gillette Young Guns Celebrity Race" championship came down to a
final, no holds barred, winner take all shoot out. Each of the Superstar
finalists were drafted by a Gillette Young Gun, who mentored, coached and
strategized the path to victory.
The Superstars drove their own customized, finely tuned, 650 horsepower
beasts through a pit crew challenge time trial, adding the final thrilling
component to this authentic stock car racing experience. In the dramatic
conclusion, Jewel, John Cena, Tony Hawk, Bill Cowher, John Elway and Ty
Murray clashed in a desperate last-ditch attempt to be the first to lift
the trophy. Showing the poise and determination fans have come to expect
of him, John Elway left the field behind and, in so doing, became the
first "Fast Cars & Superstars -- Gillette Young Guns Celebrity
Race" champion.
"Fast Cars & Superstars - Gillette Young Guns Celebrity
Race" is hosted by ESPN anchor Kenny Mayne and co-hosted by former
Cleveland Cavaliers center and current ESPN NASCAR analyst Brad Daugherty.
