Ugly Betty Gets Set for Victoria Beckham?  6/29/07

Victoria Beckham is in negotiations to play herself in an upcoming episode of hit sitcom Ugly Betty.

Show regular Eric Mabius revealed the news during a recent interview, explaining producers have made the initial steps to sign the singer up when she becomes a Los Angeles resident later this summer (07).

Mabius says, "Victoria is keen and so are we. We can see her fitting in as a cameo now she is about to be big in the U.S."

Brit Beckham is planning a new life in America with soccer superstar husband David, who will begin his tenure with Major League Soccer team the Los Angeles Galaxy next month (Jul07).
