David Beckham Ok After Fan Attack  6/9/08

Soccer stud-turned-model David Beckham is playing down the security scare at Saturday's (07Jun08) L.A. Galaxy game, during which an over-zealous fan had to be dragged from the pitch.

Beckham admits he was a little wary when the fan disrupted the Galaxy game against Colorado Rapids and ran towards him.

He says, "He didn't have a smile on his face and he didn't have a Galaxy shirt on, so I didn't know if he was going to come and give me a hug or something else. "These things happen in games all over the world. Luckily, he just wanted to give me a high five and that was the end of it."
