Heidi Klum Sells Up In New York 6/12/08

Supermodel Heidi Klum is house hunting in New York, after selling her Manhattan apartment for $5.35 million (£2.675 million).

The penthouse has been bought by rock photographer Steve Joester and his wife Debra, who can add the three-bedroom duplex with a roof deck and hot tub, to the one they already own directly below.

According to reports, Klum and her rocker husband Seal sold up because they are spending most of their time in Los Angeles, where she is shooting TV show Project Runway. But Big Apple sources insist they still plan to look for a new, bigger, home in downtown New York.

An insider tells the New York Post, "She's very family-oriented and needs a lot more space for nannies and visiting relatives." The couple has two children together, as well as Klum's daughter Leni from a previous relationship.
