Nicole Kidman Thrives In 'Rough' Desert Shoot For Fashion Magazine 6/18/08

Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman thrived in the harsh elements of her desert photoshoot for U.S. magazine Vogue - despite calling the experience the "roughest thing" she has ever experienced.

Kidman is pictured posing on the set of her upcoming film Australia as she graces the cover of the fashion magazine's July (08) issue. And she insists the elemental experience was liberating.

She says, "It's the roughest thing I ever had to go through. We got caught in a dust storm so bad we couldn't even see. Everybody lived out there for five days in these little silver tents.

It was great." Kidman stars opposite fellow Aussie actor Hugh Jackman in the film, which tells the story of a beautiful aristocrat who has to drive a 2,000-strong herd of cattle across the Australian badlands.
