Matthew Rhys Denies He Is Dating Sienna Miller 6/26/08

Welsh actor Matthew Rhys has dismissed rumors he has revived his relationship with The Edge Of Love co-star Sienna Miller - insisting on-set romances are "the worst idea in the world".

The Brothers & Sisters star, 33, dated the British actress before she become involved with Rhys Ifans - and has been blamed by the media for the couple's subsequent break-up earlier this month (Jun08). But Rhys insists he is not romantically involved with Miller, accusing the press of making up stories about their alleged relationship.

He says, "(There has been) a lot more speculation about the whole thing than actual fact." And Rhys admits that he would never consider dating a co-star - because relationships forged on a movie set rarely work out.

He adds, "On-set romances are the worst idea in the world. You get caught up in the microcosm of filming, especially if you're playing romantic parts, and I'm only speaking from my own experience here, but it never really pans out afterwards."
