Xzibit Arrested in Guam for Marijuana Possession  3/15/05

Pimp My Ride Host Xzibit was reportedly arrested in Guam on Sunday (13MAR05) for possession of marijuana.

Before performing for hundreds of fans that night, the star was cited by Customs officers upon his arrival at the Guam International Airport Authority after two grams of marijuana were found tucked into Xzibit's clothes.

Acting Customs director Rick Blas tells Guam.com that the rapper was cited for possession of less than an ounce of a controlled substance.

He says, "These people tend to forget that whenever they cross international borders, regardless of their status, Customs has control of the borders."

Blas adds of Xzibit, "He was very good-natured that morning, even declaring that he had it and he was smoking it. We find people being caught and the very first thing is deny, deny, deny. He was very relaxed about it."

Xzibit, real name Alvin Joiner was given a citation and will have to pay a fine unless he plans to fight the matter in court.

The star was still able to perform for fans as part of his current Weapons of Mass Destruction tour.
