Hugh Jackman Enjoys Being a Husband  3/18/05

X-MEN hunk Hugh Jackman is relishing taking a break from Hollywood to look after his son OSCAR in the Australian outback, while his wife Deborra Lee-Furness pursues her acting career.

Furness is currently working with director Ray Lawrence on Jindanyne with Laura Linney and Ganriel Byrne, leaving Jackman to care for their four-year-old son.

Jackman, 36, says, "When I am looking out the window with my son, Oscar, I see ducks and kangaroos. This really is the wilds of Australia. It has been some time since I've been this far in.

"I'm here minding my son, while Deb goes out to make a movie.

"This morning, I got her up at 5:30am, made her a cup of tea, sent her off to the set with a kiss and... then I went back to bed!"
