SHOW AIRS ON THURSDAY, MARCH 24, 2005
BURBANK, Calif. – March 24, 2005 –
In an interview with "Access Hollywood," "Guess Who"
star Ashton Kutcher speaks out on racial intolerance, saying that
"everybody wasn't comfortable" with him "spending time with
Sean Combs." The interview airs on "Access Hollywood,"
Thursday, March 24, 2005 (check local listings for time and station).
"When I was spending time with Sean Combs, what I realized was
that everybody wasn't comfortable with it," says Kutcher. "It
was like, I'm white and he's black, what are these two doing hanging out
together?"
The actor also says that he feels that overall, society isn't quite
where it needs to be in regards to racial tolerance. "I've gone out
with friends of mine that are black and seen them treated different ways
because of the color of their skin."
"Access Hollywood" is produced by NBC and distributed by NBC
Universal Domestic Television Distribution. Rob K. Silverstein is the
