AMERICAN IDOL RE-VOTE LEADS TO RECORD NUMBER OF VOTES!
MIKALAH GORDON IS ELIMINATED FROM THE “AMERICAN IDOL” COMPETITION
COUNTDOWN TO THE NEXT AMERICAN IDOL CONTINUES;
TOP 10 COMPETE TUESDAY, MARCH 29, ON FOX
In an unprecedented week, AMERICAN IDOL, which due to an error with the
graphics shown on-screen during the performance recap at the end of
Tuesday’s show, aired another performance show on Wednesday, drawing a
record 31.5 million votes. It was revealed last night that the journey
ended for Mikalah Gordon after she received the lowest number of votes.
Gordon, from Las Vegas, NV, sang “Love Will Lead You Back.”
Next week, the competition heats up when the Top 10 - Bo Bice, Anthony
Fedorov, Constantine Maroulis, Anwar Robinson, Scott Savol, Nikko Smith,
Jessica Sierra, Vonzell Solomon, Nadia Turner and Carrie Underwood -
compete head-to-head for the AMERICAN IDOL crown. They will take the
stage, singing live for America, on Tuesday, March 29 (8:00-9:00 PM
ET/PT). Tune in the following night to see who America has chosen to stay
and who is sent home on the live results show Wednesday, March 30
(9:00-9:30 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.
