Missy Elliot Slams Model Lesbian Rumors  3/28/05

Rapper Missy Elliot has slammed rumors she is romancing America's Next Top Model winner Eva Pigford.

American shock jock Wendy Williams linked the hip-hop star to Pigford - who won the third series of Tyra Banks' hit reality TV show - earlier this month (MAR05).

But Mona Scott, manager for both Elliot and Pigford, says the two stars are simply friends, explaining, "Wendy Williams has basically linked all of my clients together.

"She's a gossip-monger and does this stuff for ratings and so listeners will tune in."

Referring to reports of Elliot and Pigford's recent "date" at a performance of Madea Goes to Jail at New York's Beacon Theater, Scott says, "I was there for all of these events, and it was basically me taking two clients out."
