Alicia Keys to be Honored Along Songwriting Greats  3/31/05

R&B beauty Alicia Keys will be honored with the coveted Starlight Award at the 2005 Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards, in recognition of her talents as a young songwriter. 

The "Fallin'" star will receive the award when the ceremony is held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on 9 June (05). 

Among those who will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame this year are ISAAC HAYES, STEVE CROPPER, BILL WITHERS and CREDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL's JOHN FOGERTY. Legendary guitarist LES PAUL will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.
