Avid
Exposure Signs Tequan Richmond From Everybody Hates Chris 3/5/06
Avid Exposure’s film and television roster continues to grow with its
newest addition, Tequan Richmond, recognized as one of the hottest new
teen actors.
(PRWEB) March 5, 2006 -- Like so many Hollywood success stories, Tequan
Richmond's tale involves overcoming and breaking through many challenges
on his way to living his dream as an actor in Hollywood. A native of North
Carolina, Tequan Richmond who stars as Drew, Chris’ taller, more
assured, younger brother, in UPN’s hottest new comedy “Everybody Hates
Chris” signs with Avid Exposure.
In 2004, Tequan appeared as American Legend Ray Charles Jr. (at age 9-10
years old) in the award-winning biographical feature film “Ray”. In
addition, Tequan has appeared numerous television programs including:
“Cold Case”, “ER”, “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and “MADtv.”
He also has been featured in various national print ads and commercials.
Tequan will make a guest panel appearance along with the entire cast of
“Everybody Hates Chris” at the William S. Paley Television Festival at
the Directors Guild of America Theatre Complex on March 2, 2006 at 7pm.
Despite the fabulous new zip code and superstar aspirations, Tequan (age
13) insists that the Hollywood scene hasn't changed his outlook on things.
Sure, he's delighted with the perks, like free clothes and gifts. And he
loves to make appearances with Chris Rock and the whole cast. Yet unlike
many of his fabulously famous peers, he's not obsessed with his looks or
stardom; he insists that he thoroughly enjoys acting and will continue his
career long term.
“I enjoy working with Tyler Williams (Chris’character) and we talk all
the time outside of work and on the set. We really do act like brothers
even when we are off the set. It has been great to work with Chris Rock
and to follow in the footsteps of a great actor,” Tequan comments.
